I love Fredricksons Hardware in San Francisco's Marina. The people who work there are not only hardware lovers but will spend forever finding what you need. This is my go to place for jewelery dilemmas. And they'll even steer you to a cheaper source. Yesterday I was with one person for ever as he excitedly pulled metal findings and odd things out for me. Then just this morning in their paint store John helped me remove some film off my glass.
